How it works

Source, distribute, empower

Three connected steps turn surplus into stability for families across the East Valley.

  1. Volunteers sorting fresh produce into boxes at a community food bank warehouse

    01

    Source

We collect surplus food from grocery partners, farms, and restaurants before it ever reaches a landfill.

  2. Volunteers loading boxes of fresh food into a refrigerated delivery van

    02

    Distribute

Refrigerated routes move that food the same day to pantries, schools, and neighborhood hubs.

  3. Adults taking notes during a job training session in a bright classroom

    03

    Empower

Families connect with workforce training, housing guidance, and the support that builds stability.

Pounds rescued last year

Every pound is a meal that stays in the community

In the past year our routes recovered more than two million pounds of fresh food and delivered it to 38 partner sites across Gilbert, Mesa, Chandler, and Queen Creek. That is roughly 1.9 million meals that never went to waste.
